April 8 (Bloomberg) — The European Space Agency launched its CryoSat-2 satellite on a 140 million-euro ($190 million) mission to measure the thickness of ice on Greenland, Antarctica and the polar seas.
The launch from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan was aired live on ESA’s Web site. It comes four years after the original satellite was lost due to a failure of the launcher. About 17 minutes after liftoff, the agency confirmed the first signal from the CryoSat-2 was received in Malindi, Kenya. Read the rest of this entry »

参观上海世博会，大家首先要明确一点的是园区的开放时间：
世博会园区开放时间是9：00~24：00，共15个小时。而各参展方展区开放时间（即开馆时间）为9：30~22：30，共13个小时。每天，园区21：00禁止入场，大多数展馆在22：00禁止入馆。若在平日（2010年5月4日~2010年9月30日；2010年10月8日~2010年10月24日）晚上17点后参观，可在园区各进口处当场购买夜票，票价为90元人民币，同样在21：00禁止入园。
可能大家会有一个疑问，在早上9：00~9：30，晚上22：30~24：00这段时间场馆不开放，游客能做什么？其实，世博会不仅仅看的是展览，园区每天都会有超过100场的文化演出活动，在这些活动中，最为精彩的是每天的开园、闭园仪式。在整个世博会会期（184天）中，每个国家还会有国家馆日活动。开园仪式和大多数的国家馆日开幕式都是在9：00~9：30举行，所以建议大家在8：30左右到达园区，9：00准时进园参观。 Read the rest of this entry »

Vancouver gold medalists Shani Davis and Ashleigh McIvor display the free zip line in San Francisco being used to promote tourism to Canada.
Riders must scale the 101 steps of fun up a scaffold tower to get to the zip line, which the British Columbia tourism office hopes will lure tourists to the site of the Winter Olympics.

Two NASA astronauts early today worked hand-in-hand with a robotic arm during a six hour-plus spacewalk to attach a 1,700 pound ammonia tank to the International Space Station.
Space shuttle Discovery Mission Specialists Rick Mastracchio and Clayton Anderson worked in space from 1:31 a.m. EDT today to 7:58 a.m. in what was the mission’s first spacewalk.
NASA noted this morning that today’s spacewalk was the 234th conducted by U.S. astronauts, and the 141st spacewalk in support of the space station. Read the rest of this entry »

其实我本来不想写这篇文章的，因为写了肯定会引来口水之争的，而我已经不想再去和别人争论什么。我曾经说过，如果我愿意，我可以去颠覆你们二十多年来形成的价值观，因为生活中很多在你们看来是理所当然的观念都是错误的，但后来马上删掉了这句话，因为我不想引来争论，并且改正你们对这个世界的认识对我来说没有任何的益处，而不是我不能。
西南大旱，近200天没有下雨了，对西南的百姓的生活造成了极坏了影响，于是乎，广大人民再一次涌现了爱心精神，捐款的捐款，捐水的捐水。这是在汶川地震之后，又一调动全国人民积极性的事情。捐款捐水，属于献爱心的行为，是一种高尚的行为，本身并没有可以指责的地方，相反，这是我国人民巨大民族凝聚力的体现。但我想说，并不是好的出发点都能带来好的结果。表面上，很多人的善举是在帮助西南的百姓，但我想说，你们的爱心举动使这场灾害的主角政府退到了幕后，而你们的行为并不能给西南的抗旱带来多大的帮助。在某种程度上，你们在帮西南百姓的倒忙。 Read the rest of this entry »

视屏中一个身穿绿色衣服的女子正拿着一个伞把抽打一个白衣女子，嘴里念念叨叨的不知道在说些什么！我们暂且称呼打人女为“伞把姐”。视频是手机拍摄，视频中一共出现了6人，代拍摄者一共7人！！！其中主脚是2个，其他3女一男围观，后来一个迷彩女加入了战斗！！！！
具体过程是这样的，先是伞把姐用伞把不停的抽打白衣女子，后来可能觉得伞把不过瘾，就一气之下丢掉了伞把，上前，用手闪其耳光，兴起之时还对白衣女子私处飞踹一脚。这一脚踢得白衣女子连连后退，但是她依旧没有屈服，，伞把姐还是不肯罢休，继续冲上前去闪其耳光，左一个右一个！吧唧！吧唧的！
不一会儿，迷彩女也冲了上来，她来的更直接，一个耳光过后，就对私处猛的一脚，这一脚真实势大力沉！！打完之后，迷彩女潇洒的转身…… Read the rest of this entry »
